As you begin designing your home, you may want a certain style but don’t have the words to describe it. The information in this section will give you the language and inspiration to create your own masterpiece. Each page features a specific design style and provides an overview of its origins and design traits. In addition, we have provided links to home plans in our portfolio that are representative of that style. However, don’t forget that you can make modifications to any home plan, or create your very own custom design influenced by any of the styles outlined in this section. As you view each design, jot down what you like or don’t like about the design style. Write down the adjectives of the designs that resonate the most with you. This will help you down the path of building the home you have always imagined.
