What is Green Building?

With the President Homes Green program, it is truly easy to reach green certification when you build your house. After months of working with Wisconsin Green Built, a leader in the field of Green Building, we jointly created an easy to follow program of materials and actions that anyone can do. In addition to the highly efficient materials we provide, most of what you'll need to do is ask the right questions and make sure you choose the right option on a number of products that you will need anyway for your house. Our program walks you through all those decisions.

Does It Cost a Lot More To Be Green?

No! That's the quick answer, despite what others may tell you. Being an Owner Builder is all about taking the smart route to get what you want at a lower cost. We stuck to that mindset when developing our Green program and we have minimized your cost. You can expect to pay less than 1% more for outside materials and labor.
